Weight

Weight‘s weekly dubstep event at Plush has run it’s course. Started as a monthly by Grommit and Innerlign in April 2006, it was the first all dubstep monthly in the Southern US. The team was soon expanded with the additions of I/O, Tyrant, & Sloppy Jackson. Weight also produces one-off events under the name Heavyweight, with larger venues, bigger sound, and sought-after performers. They’re still around just moving on to new ground.

Weight has been blessed to enjoy such esteemed guests as: Cyrus, Benny Page, Ramadanman, Sukh Knight, Emalkay, Clouds, Goth-Trad, Hatcha, Headhunter, Caspa, Djunya, DJG, Antiserum, Joe Nice, 12th Planet, Dokkebi Q, Roguestar MC, Alex Incyde, Deville, BMC & Fragile (Texas Dub), Mundo, Keith P, Parson, Suraj K, South3rn, Chango, Sharkweek, & Pandai’a. Come meditate on bass weight.
